Remember Nature 2025: Gathering at Hulme Community Garden Centre

Join artist Yu-Chen Wang and others for a gathering at Hulme Community Garden Centre on 4 November for Remember Nature 2025.

We’ll spend a couple of hours informally exploring the question: “What can we do to support nature?” over soup and a hot drink. A range of community groups, environmental scientists, campaigners, artists and others will share knowledge, skills and ideas, offering concrete ways to support nature. We hope that attendees will come away with plans for actions they can take individually and/or collectively, e.g. by signing up as a volunteer with Hulme Community Garden Centre or getting involved in local campaigns.

You are welcome to pop in for 5 minutes or spend the full two hours with us, enjoying a range of approaches such as skill shares, Ask A Scientist, visual materials and pop-up presentations. This is a space for sharing ideas, skills, and knowledge, regardless of perspective.

Invitees include ecologists from Manchester Metropolitan University, Mums for Lungs, Grass Routes, Ethical Consumer, Sustainable Communities Hulme, Vegan Organic Network, the Gaitskell Garden Project, Science and Industry Museum and more…
